The MEDC is also responsible for managing the Pure Michigan brand. Pure Michigan was launched as a campaign to promote jobs and talent, tourism, and business in Michigan. Thanks to Professor Hairong Li and some students at Michigan State University, potential Chinese investors and Chines students will have a better idea of what Michigan has to offer. Note that these videos are posted on Youku (China's version of Youtube). Youtube is blocked in China. This year, the NextGen Program will host another five students from China to prepare them for higher education in the US. We look forward to welcoming our students to the US on August 20th! Also, the Chronicle of Higher Education has a good article on the difficulties for the growing number of foreign students (especially Chinese students) of integrating and making friends on college campuses in the US. Michigan State University has a great video on how to better promote understanding between US and Chinese students. Congratulations to the NextGen Inaugural Class of 2012 for completing their senior year of high school. We hope that you enjoy the summer before coming back to the US to start college in the Fall! We have consolidated our students' academic achievements this year, and built the profile below. Not bad huh? Average GPA: 3.52 Average SAT Score: 1421 Average TOEFL Score: 73 Each student was accepted into at least 3 of their top choice schools 留学四个月有感 - (1月3日2012年) | |||
